He began his piano studies in Burgos and later continued them at the Conservatorio Superior de Madrid with Maria Ángeles Rentería. He furthered his training with the pianist Ricardo Requejo and later at the Conservatory of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), under the direction of Olivier Sörensen, where he began his assiduous collaboration with the world of singing, giving recitals in different cities of Switzerland, and making recordings for Radio Suisse Romande. Since then he has collaborated in the classes of singers such as Rosemarie Meister, Juliette Bise, Jeanne Roth, Carmen Casellas, Lucía Simón, Pedro Lavirgen, Belén Genicio, María Ángeles Triana, Enedina Lloris, Ileana Cotrubas, Teresa Berganza, Victoria de los Angeles, etc. Since 1992 he has been a piano accompanist at the Conservatorio Superior de Zaragoza, and later at COSCYL, where he was director and where he currently teaches.In this professional work, together with the professor María Ángeles Triana, he has set up the Opera Workshop of the Conservatory, with the staging and staging of titles such as Elisir d'amore, Schauspieldirektor, Wiener Blut, La Traviata, Don Pasquale, La Sonnambula, Suor Angelica, La Fille Du Regiment, Las Bodas de Figaro, El Barbero de Sevilla and El Barberillo de Lavapies.

Since 2012 he is part of the faculty of the courses "Vocal technique, repertoire and anatomo-physiological and functional evaluation of the singing voice" at the University of Alcalá, a multidisciplinary format that has led him to collaborate with the world of Otolaryngology being invited as a speaker at several conferences.
His specialization and knowledge of the singing repertoire has led him to work in various fields related to it, being responsible for the training of young values of the world of opera and pianists dedicated to this repertoire, giving masterclasses in Madrid, Cordoba, Zaragoza, Santander, Leuwen, Wiemar... as well as collaborator and advisor of specialized magazines, and as a regular accompanist in singing recitals.
